Make Money Online Using Your Skills and Talents

Okay, maybe you're not quite ready to set off on your very own entrepreneurial adventure just yet... BUT, you are ready to start learning how to make some money online.

Just how are you going to do that? Freelance work. Find a job online. Here are some ideas to get you thinking about what kinds of things you can do. If you find that one of the ideas interests you, Google it. Start to find out information on how you can profit doing what you already know how to do. Use the work experience you already have or learn some new skills to enhance what you already know how to do. If you're feeling like you don't know how to do anything, guess again! Let's just take a look at what's available before you make any decisions.

  1. Data entry
  2. Medical transcription
  3. Medical billing
  4. Web design
  5. Freelance writing - articles, copy ad writer / editor, research writer, technical writer
  6. Event planning
  7. Surveys - online, offline, forums, telephone
  8. Mystery Shopping

These are just a few of the ways to get an online job, but here's another idea - telecommuting. Is there any possible way to turn your current job into one where you work from home or telecommute?

One of the main things to think about with competing for jobs like these and more is learning how to market yourself. Keep your resume up to date listing all your work history and experience and any credentials you might have. Keep building your credentials and find more ways to get your resume out there!

Here are some sites that can give you more information about working from home. There are more, but start with these to get the ideas rolling in your mind about what you can do to get some extra cash!

www.workaholics4hire.com

www.sologig.com

www.tjobs.com

www.moneymakingmommy.com/jobs/ongoing.html

www.portajobs.com

One word of caution... Be careful about any site that charges you to get work or gets lists of site for work. Keep in mind that some provide legitimate value, but some offer free information and then they charge you for it?!?! Just be aware about the kinds of information you're paying for. Maybe you might want to not deal with looking for the free information and you want it all done for you in one place. Then do consider paying for that information. My point is that you just need to be aware about what it is that you're paying for. Honestly, if you're looking at these places as potential sources of income, FREE info is always best! Do what's free first and then build it up to consider paying.

NOW, I saved the best for last! Here is something that just about everyone can do. BLOGGING. You can make money writing about what you love. You can get paid to blog. Blogging is one of the latest developments in social journalism. The more you write, the more people come to your blog. Expand your traffic by using sites like www.FeedBurner.com.

Here are some paid blogging sites to check out.

www.weblogsinc.com

www.payperpost.com

www.blogfeast.net

www.blogsvertise.com

www.blogitive.com

www.blogit.com/Blogs/

The opportunities are endless because of the variety of topics available to write on. You'll be sure to find one topic you're passionate about!

Have fun taking a look at these oppotunities! There's going to be a wealth of ideas flowing through your mind!

Professionalism In Your Business

Professionalism in character (the voice of your website) - I just finished reading a post where this guy seemed to be dogging "newbies" and how people who entrust them to build their website are going to lose all the way around. He was talking about professionalism and at the same time, slinging mud at the very people who probably read his blog. Honestly, I got offended! So much for professionalism! He did however, have a nice and tidy, professional looking blog.

Professionalism in Being the Expert - Whenever you attempt anything new in your life or your business, at some point, you're going to be a "newbie". You're not going to have all the experience you need. We don't all have the luxury of having PhD's as we roll out of the womb!

Regardless, he does have a point which we could all learn from and that is this. Do your homework before you start anything! See the process and how your idea is going to work on paper before you start "ringing the dinner bell" for people to visit your site.

Yes, we're all newbies at some point but at least be an educated newbie! Know your market. Know how your product sells. At least have some idea on how you will build your business! Study articles and reports about what you want to do. Search other blogs for reviews or other information.

The internet is your information hub that is available 24/7! Getting at least some information should not be a problem. Then use (apply) what you've learnt!

Now here's something to think about. I would rather try something new and fail at it than sit in fear of failing. If you're determined to succeed, then you will have success! Being professional commands a degree of excellence in all you do!

Success or Defeat: Preparing Your Mind for Success!

If you want success, you'll need to take some time preparing your mind for success. Everyone wants to be successful, but sadly, the mindset of most people is set up for failure and defeat. What follows are some simple things to do that will help you prepre your mind for success. Now, how can we best prepare our mind for success?

The first thing to do is read books about success - the Bible, T. Harv Eker, and many more. Your mind is like a cup - a vessel. If your mindset is polluted, it's like having stale coffee or moldy water in your vessel. The success principles and attitudes you'll read about is like fresh coffee or fresh, clear water being poured into your vessel. As the new liquid comes in to your cup, it eventually dilutes the junk and the cup overflows until all that's left is the good, fresh stuff. Clean out your cup. Start reading about success principles and mindset. Start reading biographies of successful entrepreneurs and what their mindset is/was.

The second thing to do is take the time to examine negative or defeating mindsets you might have. Even the smallest thoughts matter! What your goal is here is the equivalent of pulling weeds from the garden. Some are more deeply rooted than others, but either way, they have to go! Here's where positive confession help. To uproot the weeds, you've got to plant success principles and attitudes in your mind. Basically, speaking / confessing postive principles and attitudes.

Lastly, practice what you read - self application. Why read if you're not going to do a thing about it? That's just wasting your time and money (for investing in the book).

It's your life. The decisions you make this minute impact the next whether you want it to or not. Be on the path of success by clearing the junk in your mind!

Success or Defeat: What's In Your Mind?

You can decide today whether or not you will be successful in everything you do. What is your mind filled with? Are you focused on your upcoming bills, or having a little extra for this holiday season, or maybe you're focused on your work? What ever is grabbing your focus, decide today to spend some time being focused on your success!

The idea is this. You are what you think you are. You have what you think you have. If your mind is filled with what you don't have and your defeating circumstances, then that's exactly what you'll get. If that's the case, why not think about your success? Practice visualizing your dreams and goals. Practice thinking abundance. Practice visualizing a healthy marriage and family life. Practice seeing yourself as a success.

Clear your mind of the junk! Not that we shouldn't worry about bills or "the facts" of your situation, but rather focus on the successful life that's coming to you! Focus on the new life that you are deciding to have today!

Here's one way you can begin to clear your mind of the junk in it. Speak out loud positive confessions of your success! Declare that you have an abundant life. Declare that you are blessed! Declare good things to come into your life! Then start to picture in your mind, your success - what you are doing, your lifestyle, etc.

One of the things I really recommend is having a dream journal. When you have an image of your successful life right in front of you, it's easier to imagine that image in your mind!

Journaling Your Dreams - Goals

We all have dreams and aspirations - things we want to see or do in life. But somehow, somewhere along the way, we forget about what it was that we wanted to set out to accomplish.

Never let that happen to you! Post your dreams and goals in a dream journal and keep it fresh in front of you!

Here are 5 things to do to keep your dreams and goals alive!

  1. Write your dreams down. Paste pictures of them everywhere. Post your dreams and goal in a handy book.
  2. Review your dreams and goals daily to keep the passion for attaining them fresh! As time passes, we tend to forget. We won't forget if we review them daily...
  3. Do something that takes a step towards reaching your dreams and goals daily. Research... Place an ad for your business... Take a leap of faith and network yourself...
  4. Daily speak success over your dreams and goals. You are going to see success as long you don't quit and continually do something towards reaching your dreams and goals!
  5. Be thankful that you desire something more than what you have. That's adding life to your life!

Using Google Groups to Get the Word Out

Need to get the word out about your business? Use Google Groups. Signing up for groups is free and you can post as much as you want in these groups.

Google groups are a good place to start writing copy for your email marketing campaigns as well as review your copy for improvement. Posts are text only, but you can add links to your other sites.

When you subscribe to any Google group, you will be asked if you want to receive emails listing some of the posts. If you sign up for the group, you will want to keep up with the group's activity. You can opt to receive an abridged email (1 email of posting activity), digest email (about 1 email per day with 25 full new messages bundled into the email), or email which will send you approximately 43 emails - each post as it arrives. You can always opt to not receive any emails.

Add Google Groups to your list of free resources to get the word out on your business!

*Note: Depending on what your business is, posting to Google groups may not work for you. Check it out and then decide if its worth your time and effort!

Taking 1st Steps with e-Bay!

I just completed my first official 25 listings with eBay. What an experience! That alone took hours - mostly because of my inexperience...

Why did I choose to do 25 listings on eBay? eBay is where the people are. Did you ever shop for a gift in a classified ad section or from a group posting? As for 25 listings, I was testing Turbo Lister. I placed my first 16 listings manually (one by one) and the rest using the program.

The "sell form" to list products is fairly easy to use. The only times I didn't know what to do was if the section had a multiple tab feature (as in shop inventory) or under the shipping section. I really spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to list worldwide!

I'm also in Learning to Sell 101 - just have to have that education and I'm also trying out some of the other features like having an eBay Store. It's not really a store, but rather a store front that lets you show case in one place multiple listings. The good thing is that this show case is added to every listing automatically if you are subscribing. They offered a 30 day free trial so I'm trying it out!

Like with anything, here are some things to keep in mind with every new venture.
  1. Capitalize on the shopping season!
  2. Learn and get educated on the how's and experiences of others. Read blogs, forums, take classes, apply what you've learnt to your business.
  3. Keep trying and don't give up!

I'll be journaling more of my experiences in the blogs to follow.

A Day of Thanksgiving

It's days like these that remind me of what I'm grateful for in my life. It's days like these that also remind me of how much I take for granted in my life.

Here are some things I'm thankful for in my life:
  1. I'm thankful for my children. Because of them, I want more out of life to share it with them. I'm sure everyone wants to give the best to their family and I'm sure you're feeling the same as well.
  2. I'm thankful that I have great friends and family to share my life with. Not everyone will go out of their way to share their life with you and I'm very thankful for the ones that do. They really touch my heart.
  3. I'm thankful I serve a God who daily loads me with benefits. May His power and His glory be ever present in my life.
  4. I'm thankful that I have the ability to pursue life in order to make my dreams come true.
  5. I'm thankful that I never cease to run out of creativity and inspiration with regards to reaching out to more and more people. May your life be blessed more and more that I might one day be able to meet you.
  6. I'm thankful that I'm not bitter or cynical about life. Life is too short to stay that way. Sure people may have hurt me, but new people and new friends are surely in my midst. If I stay bitter or cynical, I'll miss out on the more in life coming my way!
  7. I'm thankful that my health is good, my body functions, and I can function in full physical capacity!
  8. Lastly, I'm thankful that the internet was created or else in order to reach you guys, I'd have a phone and postage bill the size of the national debt!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

You Gotta Start Someplace

Are you a perfectionist? Do you have to know everything about a given subect before you even attempt to do it? Do you suffer from information paralysis?

The path you're on is learning by doing. There are just some things that you can only learn about from experience - sort of like love. You can read up the ying yang about love, but until you're in it, none of what you've read matters.

Being informed and educated about a subject is one thing. You have to do that, but you don't need to get a PhD in Information Systems to learn how to be an entrepreneur on the web.

Your quest for perfection just might stifle your creativity which is the pits!

You're a novice and you gotta start someplace in order to get ahead!

Don't Make Long Term Decisions Based on Your Short Term Circumstances

Don't make long term decisions based on your short term circumstances!

All to often, we make decisions that affect us long term because of what's going on in our lives now.

Ever had this thought? "I don't have money to invest now so I'll wait 'til later to start." Or how's about "I don't have the skills so I can't build my business.
Try switching your focus to what you can do instead of what you can't do.
Remind yourself of your dreams! See this design and more at our Faith for Finances Online Store.

CafePress Opportunity

While I was building my website, I realized that I had nothing to sell. I had to create something to sell in order to make some money.

What is CafePress? It's a drop-shipper that allows you to add your creative touch to basic gift items like t-shirt, calendars, keepsake gifts, coaster tiles, tote bags, and more.

How do you use CafePress? You upload your pictures and/or designs in at least a jpeg format and add it to what ever products you choose. Jpegs may need formatting to fit well on the product, but Cafepress offers you templates to work with. They provide everything you need as far as the technical application of creating the product. All you have to do is create a photo or design or even a logo to get started.

CafePress pays you when you sell something and you get paid the difference between retail and cost. You set the retail price.

A starter site at CafePress is FREE! Yay! But if you want to sell multiple designs of the same product, the free option will not work. For example, you want to sell, a pink women's t-shirt in various designs. With the free option, you'll only be able to sell one design at a time using the pink t-shirt.

So what do you do? Sign up for the upgrade version which does allow you to sell multiple designs on the same product. The cost is to get started is $6.95 per month. That's pretty low.

They take care of the order placement and delivery of your product.

Try this site out to gain experience in marketing products. Try the FREE site first and once you get the hang of it, then upgrade if you choose.

How Serious Are You About Your Business

Just how serious are you about building your business. The fact is that there are millions of other people (not to mention businesses) that are trying to do the exact same thing you are.

Does that mean that you give up because you can't compete with the likes of Amazon or Microsoft? Absolutely not!

While you or I probably don't have the advertsing budget of these corporate giants, there is still a slice of the pie reserved just for you!

Do you realize that there are great companies who started off in basements and garages to become multimillion even billion dollar companies - You Tube, Google, Amway just to name a few!

We might not be a super techie but we've got all we need to succeed!

SEO for Beginners

Here's a tip. I'm sure that by now, if you've been working on building your business, you've already heard about SEO Optimization.

You don't have to be a pro at SEO, but you do have to know how you can use it to improve your rankings with search engines.

The search engines pick up on several things - linkages, content (key works) and popularity (amount of different people who visit your site). I'm sure they do other things as well, but for the layman and newbie (SEO Beginner), these are the three things to focus your websites content.

To find other sites to do link exchanges with, check out www.linkpartners.com. Registration is free. You can add your site and view sites who accept link swaps. This is a lot of tedious work and I'm moving at snail's pace in this area, but I'll do anything to that has the potential to make my business a success - especially when it's free.

Have a lot of key word content for your site. For example, when you write an article or something for your site, pick a key word and include it at least 5 times in your writing. Honestly, that's SEO for Beginners.

Site popularity - basically, the more you get your business out there to be seen, the more people will visit your site. To see what I mean, check this. If you wanted to make more friends, would you stay at home waiting for friends to show up at your doorstep? No. You would go to where people were at. While there, you'll go and get in front of them and introduce yourself. Take your business to where the people are at. Once there, advertise, get your name out, reply to other people's posts, blogs, etc. Somehow initiate contact with them. MySpace is a good place to practice and just learn at the very least. There's so much creativity on that site! Anyway, the concept is simple, but it does take effort to get traffic to your site.

There's more to SEO Optimization than what I write, but the key idea here is to just get started doing something. You can perfect and fine tune as you go along. You and millions of others are in the same boat so I'm sure that some grace and mercy will fall upon you!

By the way, can you figure out what the keyword is for this post?

Help End Domestic Violence

I just finished a write up on domestic violence and I feel like I just have to make a plug for it.

Support Awareness Against Domestic Violence

This is a season to embrace the victims of domestic violence. You never know who they could be, but the statistics are atrocious. In 2003, it was reported by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence that domestic violence in the workplace was the second leading cause of death on the job. Further more, statistics show that 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence during her lifetime and 85% of victims in 2001 were women.

Want to know how you can help? Listed below are several campaigns bringing awareness to a major social issue - domestic violence.

Starting in mid-October, Chico’s launched a “Gifts from the Heart” Holiday Campaign selling its promise pin to support the programs and services that the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides. The pin is valued at $10 and can be bought online at www.chicos.com and in frontline store nationwide.

On November 9 continuing until December 31, Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated launched their 10/10 Campaign to raise funds supporting the continued provision of information and assistance to those in need. Donations start at $10 and can be made at http://www.omegaphibeta.org/serving/pr/10.10.htm. Donations of amounts other than $10 can also be made at that site.

November 25 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against women in Australia. This worldwide campaign is an effort to raise awareness of violent crimes against women and girls. Interestingly, this campaign targets men and boys who will wear a white ribbon symbolizing that they have made a pledge to never commit, condone, or remain silent about violence against women. For more information on how to purchase these ribbons, visit http://www.whiteribbonday.org.au/order.

Hotel Ruby Foo’s will hold the December 6 Montreal Girl Conference which will provide interactive workshops and educational activities for girls ages 14 to 17. This event is held on the anniversary of the death of 14 young women tragically killed in 1989 in Canada. There is a fee to attend. For more information, visit www.fearlesstiger.com.

For more information supporting the awareness of domestic violence, visit the website for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence http://www.ncadv.org/.

Free Ad Resources

There are many free ad sites and some of them are connected to each other. What I did was Google "free ads" and a bunch of stuff came up.

Here are the ones I used. Some of them are classified ads and some of them are directories. Keep in mind my mantra was "Free is for me!"

www.buysellbid.com
www.adlandpro.com
www.comcorner.com
www.inetgiant.com

Yahoo Groups
Google Groups
Craig's List
LiveDeal

www.reference.com

DMOZ

I'll add more as I try them out.

Advertising My Site

When I completed the second draft of my website, I figured that it was time to start advertising. I put up many free ads, got listed with search engines, started this blog, and got a myspace.

You know what? No one came. Sure, there were a few trickles here and there of people, but nothing really worth jumping up and down about.

I thought back to a book I had read regarding making money on the internet. They made it sound so easy to do.

The problem was that I wasn't this mega marketing guru nor did I have any experience writing or posting ads. HTML made my brain spin. Nor was I willing to invest one dime in something that didn't produce. Even adjusting photo sizes was scary. That was really a "bummer" moment.

What do you do at this point? Give up? No!!!! The fact is tons of people are making money off the internet in various ways. I was watching "The Devil Wears Prada" and I learnt one thing. If you want anything, you have to take it seriously. The character that Anne Hathaway played had to learn about the industry she was in. She had to mold herself to fit the task at hand in order to be successful. In fact at one point, her forethought gained her the respect of her boss - the part where she got the book for the twins, made copies of it, and sent it with them on the train.

Okay, enough movie review for now. The fact is, I had no experience even building or having an online business. I had to learn the industry. I had to learn the technical stuff - HTML. Thank goodness for MySpace which gave me a start in learning how to work with HTML codes. I'm still a novice, but at least I'm not petrified at the thought of it.

What's my message in this post? Don't give up! Learn and apply and keep that cycle going as you build your internet business. Learn about your market and the industry your in. Read journals, other websites, other blogs, forum, and groups. Everyone's in the learning cycle so jump in there!

Focus Your Niche

Do you know that I did a major overhaul on the site content three times already and I haven't even been live for 6 months.

It's because, like I said, I didn't have a solid niche idea. It wasn't focused enough. The content currently on my site still needs work and more information to be added to it.

But let's get back to the task at hand, finding that niche that's not broad or to narrowly focused.

How do you do that? Brainstorm. You can also review this write up about finding your niche.
http://websales200449.com/findyourniche.aspx

If you select the wrong niche, it's not the end of the world. It just takes a lot more work to correct and redefine. For example, I knew I wanted to develop a site centered on building an online business. That never changed. But what did change was how I presented that information. You can always just present anything, but how you do and what you say, will it be in line with what and how you want to say it?

What to Sell - Developing Your Niche

Great! I have a website and I started to fill it with content. My idea for my website was to be an inspirational resource for those who are or want to become online entrepreneurs. It's what I was trying to do and I do a lot of research so why not give that information hope and inspiration to others?

My business idea wasn't solid. I read about developing a niche - my own slice of the pie. Well, my idea was to encompassing and thus unfocused. I had no idea what a niche was despite having the definition right in front of me. I wanted anyone and everyone who wanted a chance to build their own online business to benefit from my site.

What did I do then? I started reading group and forum posts. I outlined it on my website. I basically checked out three sites: Web Marketing Today (Dr. Wilson - I really love that man!), Ken Evoy's SiteBuild It!, and CafePress (once on the site, go to "community" and then "forums"). These are just suggestions based on what I the type of site I wanted to build. I would recommend checking out a group or forum for your business along with Dr. Wilson's site above and Ken Evoy's site.

The idea here is to get information to help you form an idea that works for you.

What's For Free? - Starting a Website

I chose to use Microsoft Office Online. It's free. It offers 5 separate email addresses and a whole load of office functions like task / project management, contact lists, calendars, and more.

Microsoft Office Online offers a template style website that you can do a whole lot with. If you want to set up a basic website without the frilly backgrounds, then this is for you. There are 5 preselected fonts for any text that you want to add. Add your photos, links, and documents to your website. You can also select different layout scheme (i.e. - placement of your columns, etc). Want to add an email capture box? This website allows you to do that.

If you're new, then Microsoft Office Online is the choice for you. It's easy to use and there are numerous tutorials to help you get started. The help desk is also very helpful.

Now, the drawbacks. You can't alter the HTML code for this shop. What you see is what you get. The layout and background designs are simple, but if you want to "Pimp My MySpace" on that site. That's not possible.

This is a beta project for Microsoft. Meaning it's (at the time this article was written) in a testing phase. That's why it's free, however, Microsoft also states that when the beta is over, you will have an option to decide if you want to stay with them or not. It seems as though at least one of the options will remain free, but don't quote me on that.

Here's the site to check this out!

A New Direction

When I first started this blog, I imagined it would be sort of like a short message meant to inspire business owners (or would be business owners) along the way.

Well, I'm headed in a new direction. It's still along the lines of building an internet business, but it'll be more like the a log of the journey of building an online business.

We'll start with the ideas I've had and the things I've tried and am trying and how it's going. This is good stuff for those of you who don't want to spend a dime building your online business yet expect to make your millions.

The truth is, if you invest carefully, it'll just put you in a position to reap the rewards faster. Unfortunately, there's so many money traps out there that'll take your money without being able to produce the results you want to see. A lot of people fall prey to those traps and use that as the excuse that they can't make money online. If you are or were one of those people, don't let that be you. You can make money online, but for most of us, it's a long road ahead.

I'm no marketing whiz and I have a lot to learn. I know that however, after all is done, I'll have gained an invaluable experience to share with all of you.

Be on the lookout for a flood of posts coming!

Faith Is...

Faith Is...

Faith is the passion to pursue life without any barriers. It doesn't mean that you won't have obstacles or challenges come your way. What it means is that it won't stop you from achieving what you set out to do!
We can get so caught up in what faith is and what it isn't and sometimes it can get kind of confusing. Let's start with some basics.
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1 NKJ)
Faith is a confident / assured knowing you will attain what you dream even when you don't know how you are going to do it or how it's going to happen.
Faith requires an action step to be made real.
We all have dreams, but we don't always have the faith to attain them. If you dream, that's great! Why? Because faith is the substance of things hoped for... If you're not hoping for anything.... Well, send me an email and I'll pray for you... Just kidding! Get busy dreaming! If God says that you can have a life of abundance and you're living with something broken or lacking in your life, then start dreaming and hoping for those broken or lacking things to be restored or renewed. Here's the second part - faith is the evidence of things not seen. Your faith is your bridge from bringing your idea or dream into a reality. Your idea has got to exist somewhere in order for it to be made a reality! There has got to be some evidence of the unseen somewhere and it will be in the dreams within your heart!
Faith is steady - like an assured knowing. Just because you're reading the bible, know what the bible says, or have been going to church for years, that does not mean that you have faith. All that means was that you had the faith get educated in God's word, then you had the faith to memorize and put into your mind what the bible said, and you also had the faith to go to church to hear what God's shepherd said. Those things take faith, but the actions are directed at other things rather than setting up your business. Don't get me wrong - you still need to do those things to develop and release your faith, but those things are not the end means to setting up your business. Once you get built up in what God's says about you then you're ready to take the next step.
Faith requires an action step to be made real. What kind of step? That is what you have to seek God about. If you ask Him, He will tell you and if you're not hearing anything, then you had better sit and wait until you do hear something. You don't have to figure it all out for God to bless you. He knows how it's going to come in. He knows what you have to do. Part of having faith is learning to trust God and let Him be in control. You might be in a challenge right now, but if you ask God to come into your life to handle your situation, then He will be more than glad to do so.

Don't Give Up

Don't Give Up

Have you felt like nothing you do seems to be working? What are your days like? Is your life what you imagined it to be?

God is here to give you a future and a hope! That's exactly like what it says – a future and a hope in Jeremiah 29:11 NKJ. Skeptical? If you can imagine, the world and life in general is and has been full of things that train you to be skeptical of anything that seems too good to be true. Now let's cancel that picture because it's not doing you any good at this point! Life is essentially what you make it out to be and the sooner you start living life instead of complaining about how bad you got it, the sooner you will begin to reap the abundant life already chosen just for you. Start to imagine a life that is prosperous mentally, emotionally (even in the bad times), physically, and spiritually to you. What are you doing? Are you having trouble even imagining this? Well, read on.

God has just one message for you. That you are loved you with an everlasting love. Return to Him and have peace and not evil. Find Him when you open your heart to Him and He will restore your life! God is a restorer of life! So how's yours?

I can understand how this "deal" might seem too good to be true. You might have tried "God" or might even think that Christianity is just a belief system. Don't be fooled. That's the biggest lies of them all ever told!

The truth is whether or not you know God, you are loved and valued by Him. He still wants the best for you, but until you open your heart to Him, He can't come in to assist. Sure there are the stories you hear, where the hand of God just moved supernaturally and they did not even know God. Life is not just a conquering of a one time event in life. It is the continual conquering of the mindset in all areas of life that will determine your quality of life. As old mindsets or thoughts leave your life, new ones come and with that, new experiences come. Life starts to get exciting! First of all because you know you are starting to win in life. Second, because while it may seem challenging, you start to get into "Rocky Balboa" mode and you're telling "life" to "bring it"! The conquering of challenges are the things we that enable us to see more and more how much God loves us and cares for us. So I ask you again, "how's your life"? Are you where you intended to be at your age? Do you have all your needs and desires met?

Many people make the mistake that you can have the exact same life without making any changes and the "blessings" of life will somehow come in. WRONG! The truth is in order to receive a new thought or mindset – a new way of living and being, you will need to let some things go. Call it an exchange. Call it a cancellation. Call it whatever you want! Just call it gone. You can't have new things in your life by doing the same old things over and over. You can't have change without first changing. You want to fix your marriage? You want to have your children leading more blessed lives? You want to have a more exciting job or business? Well, you'll have to be honest and change "you" first.

We'd like to help you get started with your online business!

A Life of Abundance - What is it?

A Life of Abundance - What is it?

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

John 10:10 NKJ

Abundance is living under an open heaven; like having heaven on earth where everything that you could ever want or need is provided to you. If you are a Christian, this life is already yours, but you need to step into it. You can have something provided to you, but you still need to go out there and get it.

You can provide a lunch for someone. You could even have taken it them and put it in their hands, but they still need to receive it and eat it in order for the meal to satisfy their hunger.

Abundance has already been provided to you. You are at odds against a very real thief who wants to take what is yours and destroy it just like he did in the Garden. As long as this abundance stays hidden from your eyes, the thief has done his job. Open your eyes to see the opportunities for abundance in your life that are around you. Many of us already have opportunities but because they've been with us for so long, we overlook them and don't realize the true value they have.

I have a friend who writes poetry. When I read samples of her work, I found she was highly gifted but she does not see the value of the gift she already has and as a result, she has not taken the time to develop herself in her gift. She spends her time pursuing other avenues of income. I have another friend who is a great singer. Unfortunately, he is so busy chasing money that his gift is left on the sidelines of his life. The point I'm trying to make is this. Each of us already has a gift / talent that we have been given and it is up to us to develop ourselves in our talents so that we are fruitful and multiply.

Abundance is what you make it – it's a relative amount. We all understand that abundance is having more than enough; not just having your needs met, but having the "and then some" in your life! That amount is specific to your heart and your desires! If you don't want anything, that abundance threshold is probably lower than someone who wants the million dollar home, cars and monthly family vacations! This abundance is all dependent on what you see that you can have.

28And God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28 AMP

You were intended to live a life where God was your provider and all your needs were met. You not only have provision, but you need to receive provision for your life. Like the two friends I mentioned above, they keep looking for provision in other places without looking at the obvious right in front of them. Just because they have a gifting, does not mean that they do not still need instruction to perfect their gift. Not all things come instantaneously. Many famous actors had testimonies of years of struggle before they got to the place of stardom.

There was also the command to be fruitful and multiply. You were to take what was already provided to you and do what ever it took to be fruitful and multiply it. You have to apply wisdom and knowledge to your talent. Get educated about being the best in your gift / talent. This might mean you take a class or even go back to school. What ever you choose, if you follow your gift, in due time, you'll reap the abundance of the Garden. This may seem like it'll take a long time to get to this place, but that's not always going to be true. Sometimes it'll be an instant decision and you will reap rewards immediately. Each person has a different journey to take. The only point is to develop your gift / talent that has already been provided to you.

What is your life like? Are you fruitful? What kind of life are you multiplying? If you don't like what you see, God already provided for us atonement for our lives – Jesus! Along with Jesus comes the power to change your life! That's right! You can change your circumstances. You no longer have to be bound to the past. Rather you were given the fast-track pass to move forward into the Garden.

Do you know that negativity will also multiply? Do you also realize that you may be fruitful in the negative aspect of life? As you can take a gift / talent and be fruitful and multiply it, you can also do the same with a negative thought or idea. Here's what I mean. How many of you ladies have had the experience where your husband doesn't come home on time when he's supposedly "out with the boys"? You get to thinking about him being late and you get a little mad. Then you start wondering where he's at and you get a little angrier. Boom! A flashback picture of what he might be doing and that's it! You're furious at that point and then he walks in 20 minutes later than when he said he'd be home by. My point is this. One small thing turned into something huge because we focused on the negative seed, allowed emotions and fears to water it and multiply it and a negative fruit was yielded. If you can do this for negative ideas, try doing it with the positive ideas. It'll take some practice, but you'll definitely get there and the more you practice doing it, the easier it'll get.

You have to begin to "see" the abundant provision around you. God has already or will put into your life all of what you need to get back to the Garden! That's why He's God! You need to take another look at your life! How do you do that? The first step is to ask God to show you what He sees for you!

Change is a good thing although we don't always see it that way. Your life has a structure to it and it'll probably be painful to break that structure down but you need to do it. Why? It's like this. You will essentially be trying to fit the abundance of God into your little box of a life. I can say that because I tried to do the same thing. I resisted God's changes for me because I didn't know what to expect – fear of the unknown. At least I knew what I could expect from what I already had even if it couldn't possibly score in the top million of the "Most Glorious" or "Best-in-Category" of lifestyles. The point I'm trying to make is this – in order to have something new or different in your life, you've got to do something new or different. Are you trying to do the same thing expecting different results each time? That's insanity!
Change what you see in your life. See the blessings, the abundance already placed there for you! See that your life is a land full of opportunities – opportunities to love and be loved, opportunities to create more and more avenues of financial income – you get the idea.

Abundance is a mindset; not a destination. Abundance, like being blessed, wealth and prosperity, must exist first in the mind before you'll begin to see it in your life. You have to think, breathe, and live abundance before it ever shows up in your bank account! These are concepts, not a means to an end.

Abundance is something you have to decide to step into. The provision is already there. Instantly you can choose to live a life of abundance and you'll begin to have it. Ideas and thoughts of manifested abundance will be the engine to get you there. Taking steps to make your idea or thought a reality will be like driving your car on the "abundance journey" and when you reach there, you will the full manifested abundant idea or thought.

Abundance should be in all areas of your life; not just in your finances! You should have a marriage with love in abundance. Your children should experience love in abundance. Your financial income should be in abundance. Your health should be in abundance. Your relationship with God should be in abundance! You should not lack anything! Nothing should be missing or broken in your life. That is a life of abundance!

The Christian life was not intended to be a hard life. The hardest burden we were intended to carry was love; true, agape love for people. We weren't meant to deal with half of the things we deal with, but we continue to deal with them because we've not yet surrendered it whole heartedly to God. We are supposed to give our issues to God and wait and listen for His direction. Are you trapped in the mindset that things are supposed to be a certain way in your life? If things seem shaky or like they are changing, they probably are, but it's to bring in the better that God has for you. Everything is on loan in this world.

I met a woman who showed me how she saw public housing as being a blessing from God. She was previously homeless and she told me how she asked God to bring her this house and He did! That truly is a blessing from God, but she still was not meant to stay there. He still has better things in store for her just as He has better things in store for you. Let go of your material possessions. Just because He brought that thing to you doesn't mean that it is the best for you and you will need to keep it all the days of your life! What is new becomes old and when it is old, we will need to bring in the new. Everything is built step by step, layer by layer.

What is it like if you don't have abundance? You have lack or a lacking mindset. Do you have a passionless life? Let's just say that you need some stirring. Are you worried about bills? Are you constantly fighting with your husband? With God's plan, we should have nothing missing; nothing broken in our lives.

The Compelling Christian

Hello!

Let's open up in prayer. Father, I thank you for every reader here and ask you to bless us with an open heart to hear with clarity Your Spirit and Your Word. Bless this time dedicated to You. In the Name of Jesus, amen...

Luke 14:23 (New King James Version)

23 Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

What are we doing to compel people to come into His house? Do our actions compel them or repel them? We know that having Jesus in our lives is a good thing, but pushing others to feel the same way is not His will. You want to be the kind of testimony that not only talks Word, but acts Word, and lives Word! It won't be by what you say that compels someone to know God, but it'll be by His Spirit and His love felt by them that will open the doors of their heart to God. For now, we'll just have to work on you!

The focus of this blog will be on finances. Sometimes, I'll probably go off track, but it'll still be good to hear.

What's your financial condition? Are you doing all God intended? Are you being that distribution center you envisioned yourself to be? If your answer is no, then read on!

Are you tied down to the mundane? Read this scripture.
John 8:23-24 (The Message)
The Message (MSG)

23-24 Jesus said, "You're tied down to the mundane; I'm in touch with what is beyond your horizons. You live in terms of what you see and touch. I'm living on other terms. I told you that you were missing God in all this. You're at a dead end. If you won't believe I am who I say I am, you're at the dead end of sins. You're missing God in your lives."

What is it that you are tied to that keeps you down from pursuing God's best? Fear, doubt, marriage issues, jobs? You have a financial destiny to make money. Not so you can keep it because that is not in your heart to do, but so someone else can know the love of Christ. It'll take financial resources to reach that person - it takes money to hand out bibles, put gas in the car to reach out to someone, to buy lunch for the lonely co-worker who always has lunch by themselves. Realize that having finances beyond your dreams is a calling on your life! It is a calling you need to fulfill! So what's stopping you from pursuing those finances?

Time goes on even in our inaction - hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, generations! Do you realize that entire generations of families are held captive because no one was willing to break free! Thank God that you're here reading this!

You have to stand up and say, "It isn't going to be this way any longer!" "I am going to attain my financial destiny starting today!"

Think about this... you can't conquer what you will not confront, and you cannot confront what you are unwilling to identify! Are you making long term decisions based on short term circumstances? Because you have to know that circumstances always subside! Debt is a bondage. So is lack.

You are that fighter that God has called you to be. He has given you a dream of having an abundant financial future so you can be a blessing to others! So what do you do now?

Wind and Wave Obey Jesus
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.”

Where you are at is not where you are supposed to be! Cross over to the place where you are supposed to be! Look for ways to multiply your money! Look for ways to save your money! Look for ways to make money and be aggressive about it! Every day someone is profiting off of what God has/had in store for you. Making money is not a bad thing! Everyone needs it! Rely on Him to put you back on track and let your steps be ordered by Him!

What is it going to take to get you back on track? Have you forgotten why God was compelling you to cross over to abundant living in the first place?

Read this:
James 1:23-25 (New King James Version)
New King James Version (NKJV)

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

You have a plan and a purpose to complete! What do you have to do to get back on track? Ask yourselves these questions. Why is God calling you to become a compelling Christian by crossing over to the other side? Who's waiting on the other side of your obedience?

Get ready and get excited because the best is yet to come!

Let's close in prayer! Father we thank You for this time. Seal that Word in our hearts as we meditate upon it. We thank You in advance for the many blessings in store for us because You love us. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Online Income Opportunity

Hello!

Welcome to the first posting to the Faith for Finances Online blog!

This is a weekly online bible ministry dedicated to relying on the Word as you pursue your financial goals and dreams!

"For I know the thoughts that I think towards you says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope."
(Jeremiah 29:11 NKJ)

God is wants to give You a future and hope! He is never very far no matter where we might be in life... And if you ever you needed Him, He's as close as you opening your mouth and calling to Him.

So how's your online business? Do you have one? Are you in the process of setting one up? And how's that going? Are you coming up to roadblock after roadblock? If it's smooth sailing, that's great! If not, take some time to think about the above scripture - a future and a hope...

If you have any questions or thoughts, don't hesitate to post it in response.

You can also check out our website at: http://websales200449.com/default.aspx
